GOT THE PICTURE OF MUMMA AND THE PLANE !!!!!! Geez, what a beautiful pair!!! I remember when
she joined the C.A.P. very well. I still have the picture in my mind of her very clear , I
was six years old, she came to visit us at our farm on Highland Drive, she was dressed in her uniform, how beautiful she was!!!
She brought me an ice cube, the first one I had ever seen!! Grampa Dipietro had got a refridgerator - the
first one in the county probably. Her and Aunt Alice came together and the had the ice cube wrapped in her hanky.I knew
right then they had invented everything that could be invented in the whole world!!! I admired the kahki shirt
she had so much because it had the euphalets on the shoulders. She gave me an extra one she had just
like it. I wore it until I was in the 9th Grade and it was still a little too big for me. I still have
it. It's 62 years old.
