Congrats To Cole Brock! Happy Graduation!

"GIT ER DUN"
is what Cole wanted on his cap for graduation.  So, in the normal Cole fashion, he started searching for tape at the last minute! And being in an apartment full of EMT's, the tape he finally located was medical tape...and clear! Oh well, he would use it anyway; we had to leave! We had 20 minutes to get to the Dee Events Center from Roy, and Cole and his friend want to stop at Starbucks first.
"You can't see this tape and its falling off. Chels, look in my medical bag in the back for my white tape!" (NOTE: the task seems easy enough, but its only easy when you haven't seen the back of Cole's jeep! >;{  "Found it! Nevermind, found just the lid!"
I tossed the lid at Cole in the front seat with the comment of, "For goodness sakes child, clean your car!"
After rummaging through clothes, papers, and travel mugs; I found the tape and medical scissors to cut it down to size.
In just under 5 minutes, right as we pulled into the parking lot, I finished Cole's cap! His "GIT ER DUN" now showed proud and readable!
It was one of the funnest moments I've had with Cole, and I'm very proud of him!  He knew what he wanted and he got it! Congratulations Cole-Cole!  I'm so glad you're my brother and I love you tons!

Janet & Judy Cute Twins

Happy Boo Janet & Judy!

Birthday Memories of the Twins

with love from Tony & Karen

Tony writes:

This is about a nice, good looking, smart Italy kid who was just a little moody

He had two twin sisters named Janet & Judy

He got tough and mean from fighting lions & vipers

His hands were red from washing diapers

His hands were big and full of blisters

But he suffered thru it for his wonderful little sisters

He powdered their little bums & made them laff

Taught them how 2 dance when they were 2 ½

They would sing & hula and point to the south

While Toe would play the guitar with safety pins in his mouth

As time went on, they were potty trained

I was elated, but it never remained

I thoughtt I was finished - I couldnt wash another

But then, guess what - Mom gave me a baby brother

Back to the wash tub, if it werent for diapers

My life would have been - dull

Moral to the story:

Dont sweat the petty stuff and

          Dont pet the sweaty stuff

Karen writes:

I first met Janet and Judy when they were 11 years old.  I remember thinking how lucky they were to each have her best friend living with them.  They always did their hair together and had someone to pass judgement on their chosen outfits for the day.  When Beatle mania hit, they collected Beatle stuff together.  They studied together, cooked together and washed dishes together.  They did everything together.  I remember how adorable they looked on their confirmation day and how horrified they were when Ma presented them with their umbilical cords, which she had lovingly kept for them.  I remember their little dog, Saffron, who was a sibling to our Putz.  One of my favorite things to watch was the bad time they both gave poor Jerry.  They could turn him inside out just with words.  He didnt dare NOT believe what they told him, and that was his downfall.  They could set him up and then wipe him out every time.

When we returned from getting married we went to tell Gene, who was quite excited.  Then Ma, Pa, and Grandma and Grandpa Dipietro came for dinner, and when we told them they said, Uh, thats okay.  Jerry, meanwhile had called the twins at home to tell them and gave the phone to us.  Janet and Judy were laughing and crying, they were so excited.  So we left before dinner and went over to celebrate with Judy and Janet.

It was fun to watch them grow up and turn into lovely, responsible adults.  We watched them fall in love and marry.  We are very proud of them both, and we are so very happy that they are our sisters.  We love them very much.  The happiest birthday ever to Janet and Judy.
